This year we are excited to have our Christmas Fundraiser at the Sedgefield Country Club. The luncheon is sold out! Our co-chairs are Leslie Scher, Nancy Williams, and Dottie Herron. They have been working with their committee and are so excited about this event.
The SWC elves in charge of this year’s Sedgefield Woman’s Club Christmas Committee 2021 request you join our efforts in bringing the holiday spirit to SWC and making this year’s fundraiser a truly spectacular experience.
The best way to do this is to start soliciting donations from local businesses for the raffle now AND getting out to your favorite stores now to shop for those fabulous donations for the Silent Auction because everything must be turned in by November 15th. In the immortal words of Mother Hubbard……don’t wait until the cupboards are bare to start your shopping (seriously, she said that because there are supply chain issues affecting all sorts of things and stuff is flying off the shelves faster than Elphaba in Wicked).
We’re hoping each and every one of you will dig deep into your ginormous hearts (and wonderful wallets) to help make this event one to remember - as you know, this is the biggest Sedgefield Woman’s Club fundraiser for the year and gives our Sedgefield Woman’s Club the opportunity to really help our community, make a difference and truly change lives.
Our charities this year will include those that specifically concentrate on helping children in our community…. ‘cause who needs it more?
