GFWC-NC District 4
GFWC-NC District Four is one of nine districts of the General Federation of Women's Clubs of North Carolina (GFWC-NC).
We are an organization of women who are passionate about making our communities better and enhancing the lives of others through volunteer services.

Arts & Culture
We were honored to support art programs at ARC of High Point, Harmony Music School, Haynes Inman School, Voices Together, and Millis Road School.
Health & Wellness
There are many great programs that we supported at ALS, Greater Piedmont Teen Challenge, David Wilson Food Pantry @ Lutheran Church of Our Father, Hannah’s Haven, Feeding Lisa’s Kids @ Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church, Sanctuary House, Back Program @ Sedgefield Presbyterian Church, Cooking Matters @ Sedgefield Presbyterian Church, Albertson Parkinson’s Research, Greensboro, The Pregnancy Network, Victory Junction, Greensboro Urban Ministry, Food Pantry @ Ragsdale High School, Women’s Resource Center, Out of the Garden, Children’s Home Society, Salvation Army Boy and Girls Club.
Civic Engagement
We were able to support the following programs: Heifer International, Salvation Army Disaster Relief, Wine to Water, Doctors Without Borders, Operation Smile, Make A Wish Foundation, Tunnel to Towers, Canine Companions USA, St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital, Puppies Behind Bars, Fisher House Foundation, Patriot Rovers, Servant Center, Wounded Warriors, and Mustard Seed.
Education & Libraries
We helped locally with programs at Greensboro Children’s’ Museum, Hope Academy, Greensboro Natural Science Center, Ragsdale YMCA, Sedgefield Elementary School, Child Evangelism Fellowship of NC, and Agape @ Jamestown United Methodist.
Environment
In our effort to help with local programs, we contributed to Piedmont Environment Center, Dylan’s Heart, Guilford County Animal Shelter, Project Bark, Red Dog Farm Animal Rescue, Sheets Pet Clinic, SHERR (Safe Haven Equine Rescue and Retirement), and Greensboro Beautiful.
