SWC’s Civic Engagement Committee invites you to join us for a 1:15 minute tour of the new Guilford County Animal Resource center on either April 11th or May 2nd at 3pm. What to expect: We will start with a tour of the facility and then have several speakers. They will be talking about community events, fundraising needs, ways to volunteer, along with fostering programs & needs. This should take approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes.

Donations: Feel free to bring any of these with you to the event that day:
1. Gently used blankets and towels
2. Dog and Cat treats (the smellier the better)
3. Large Kongs (we stuff them with peanut butter or pumpkin and freeze them. The dogs spend hours enjoying those treats).
4. Dog & Cat Food-Any brands – dry food preferred but canned always welcomed! They help their fosters and rescue partners with this dog and cat food. They have plenty of food for their own animals there at the resource center.
