SWC General Meeting

The General Meetings start at 10:00 AM in the Sedgefield Country Club Ballroom with a 30-minute social time beforehand. Lunch follows the General Meetings in the upstairs Formal Dining Room. Lunches are also available for takeout.

Arts & Culture will present a program at the meeting. Shawn Roger from Mendenhall Homeplace with be our guest speaker. Shawn worked as a museum educator at Greensboro Historical Museum for four years and currently finished his sixth year as Director of Mendenhall Homeplace. His duties include the curatorial management of object collections, archives, and structures. He manages the development of on site education and heritage interpretation, and plays a lead role in: outreach efforts, grant seeking, grant writing and grant administration.

The lunch menu is a choice between:

  • Chicken Piccata with capers over angel hair pasta, steamed broccoli, garlic bread

  • Caprese orzo salad (orzo pasta, fresh mozzarella, heirloom grape tomatoes, garlic and basil, olive oil) Topped with citrus grilled shrimp

The cost of lunch is $20 and reservations are due to swclunch@gmail.com one week prior to the meeting.
